House
Ground floor
The front door opens to an entrance area in the large, light-and-airy triple-aspect living room (47m2) with tiled floor. To one side there is a free-standing wood-burning stove and two pairs of French doors open to a covered terrace overlooking the garden to the back of the house.
A wide opening in the living room leads to the dining room (20m2) with tiled floor. The dining room is also semi-open plan with the kitchen (21m2). The kitchen is fitted with a generous range of units (including an central island).
A door from the kitchen opens back to the entrance area, giving a great flow to the property.
A corridor from the dining room leads to the laundry room (7m2) with door to the garden, off which is a utility room (which houses the heat-exchange central heating boiler, the hot water tank etc.)
The corridor also leads to a double bedroom (13m2) with ensuite shower room (shower, wash-basin and WC) as well as a separate WC.
First floor
An attractive staircase rises from the living room to the first floor landing. To the right of the landing are two double bedrooms (18m2 and 13m2) both with wooden floors. Next to these is good-size shower room (shower, wash-basin and WC).
To the left of the landing a door opens to the master bedroom suite. The large bedroom (20m2) has a wooden floor. Off the bedroom is a walk-in wardrobe and a generous bathroom (11m2 - free-standing bath, walk-in shower, wash-basin and WC)
Guest apartment and garages
To one side of the house is a detached building which comprises two garages and the guest apartment.
The guest apartment has a kitchen (11m2) and a hall (10m2) on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a living room (22m2), two bedrooms (11m2 and 11m2) and a bathroom (bath, wash-basin and WC).
Exterior
A private road (shared with the neighbour) leads to the property which sits in the middle of a fenced, level plot of 3606m2.
To the front of the house is a large area, laid to gravel, which offers plenty of parking space (in addition to the garage). The garden then runs on either side of the house and to the back. This is mainly laid to lawn with a number of trees and shrubs and there is an above-ground pool. To the back of the house a large covered terrace, ideal for outdoor entertaining and relaxation, can be accessed from the living room.
