Les Métairies, Charente
The front door opens to the entrance hall. The the right of the hall a door opens to a large dual-aspect living room (40m2) with tiled floor and glazed doors to the garden.
From the living room a doorway leads through to the kitchen (15m2) with tiled floor and a glazed door to a small courtyard. From the kitchen a doorway opens back into the entrance hall.
To the left of the hall a door opens to the integral garage (15m2) which houses the oil-fired central heating boiler.
Off the hall there is also a ground floor WC.
A staircase rises from the entrance hall to the first floor landing, off which are four bedrooms (16m2, 14m2, 14m2 and 10m2), a shower room (shower and wash-basin) and a bathroom (bath, twin wash-basins and a WC).
Next to the house is an outbuilding (about 120m2) - part of which has been upgraded (but which would need relevant permissions to create habitable space). The remainder serves for storage.
The house sits on a level plot of about 833m2. To the side of the house, running along the living room, is a terrace which leads on to the garden - mainly laid to lawn.
This village house is in a good location, within walking distance of the village bar/tabac as well as a restaurant. The riverside market town of Jarnac is just 3km and offers supermarkets, shops, restaurants, medical centre etc.
