Main living level
A flight of steps rises from the garden to a balcony that wraps around two sides of the house. The current owners enter via the new living room (an extension to the original house) although the original front door / entrance hall are still accessible if desired.
From the terrace sliding doors open into a large, light-filled triple-aspect living room (32m2) with tiled floor. To the right of this room a wide opening leads to the second living room (22m2) with wooden floor. To the far side of this room a door opens to the former entrance hall.
To the far end of the main living room another wide opening gives access to the kitchen (14m2) with tiled floor and a range of fitted units. From here a corridor leads to the rest of the house.
The corridor joins the former entrance hall, off which are three bedrooms (13.5m2, 11.5m2 and 9.5m2) as well as a bathroom (bath and wash-basin) and a separate WC.
The garden level is accessed from ground level via two doors (and the garage) and from the main living level via a staircase from the kitchen. Down here there is a summer kitchen (21m2) which also serves as the laundry room and which houses the gas-fired central heating boiler. Off this room is a large room (20m2) - potential bedroom / office / games room etc. There is also access to the integral garage.
The house sits on a level plot of 1920m2. In addition to the garage, there are two spaces under the new living room (22m2 each) which could be converted to additional living space (subject to relevant planning permissions).
The garden is mainly laid to lawn. To the rear of the house is the swimming pool (10m x 5m), beyond which is a workshop and then a section of garden currently used as a vegetable plot.
This house is in a great location - it enjoys a rural feel with views looking towards woodland and yet is within easy walking distance of the centre of this lovely town.
